I bought a copy of Paper Towns and this letter from the yeti fell oput. I don't care if it's some promotional thing, it's cool. When I saw it I fan-girled in the middle of Books-A-Million. Really.
Awesome. I got a letter in mine as well, but it's from another awesome nerdfighter. I'll regularly go to bookstores with letters about certain books and slip 'em inbetween the pages of my favorite books. It's my wat of decreasing world-suck on a basic level as well as participating in Random Acts.
This is probably a different Sara. I'm pretty sure The Yeti has an "h" in her name. :/ Still, I would've fangirled anyway just because, presumably, a Nerdfighter lives in my area and uses the same bookstore.
Same here. It's so saddening to think that there are literally thousands of us, but we're so far from one another. John and Hank really need to discover some island and name it Nerdfighteria. It'd be the most peaceful and awesome place ever, 'cause we'd all get along so well. And we could have an army of negotiators instead of an actual one, then celebrate treaties with corn dogs and cake.
